C++ was created in the mid 80s by AT&T and was developed as an extension of the C language. Keeping C’s efficiency and low level abilities while adding object and object oriented programming. Because of how low level C++ is, it is one of the fastest languages with complete control over memory allocation and management. Because of this it is one of the most common and important programming languages, central in businesses and education purposes. Because of its memory manipulation abilities, it is one of the harder languages to fully master. C++ also supports many built in libraries and functions along with a large and active community of developers and documentation.
